Is this for you?

Stop guessing what to practise next.

Random practice does not always lead to a better score. You need to understand which skills are holding you back and what to change in your next attempt.

This programme is for candidates who want their preparation to follow a reason. Instead of collecting more practice papers, you will use each lesson and review to decide where your next effort will be most useful.

  • Your Writing or Speaking score is not improving.

  • Your scores are uneven across the four skills.

  • You are retaking IELTS and need a more focused approach.

  • You have a target score and deadline but no clear study plan.

Not sure which test version you need? Confirm the requirement with the university, employer or organisation receiving your result.

What you’ll work on

Build all four skills for the way IELTS tests them.

Your preparation will combine clear explanations, focused practice, test strategy and review. The emphasis will depend on your starting point, score profile and deadline. You will still work across the whole test, but lesson time can give more attention to the areas that are limiting your result.

Listening and Speaking are shared across both versions. Reading and Writing preparation will match the version you are taking.

Listening

Improve your ability to follow information, anticipate answers, maintain attention and review recurring mistakes. You will learn to recognise why an answer was missed instead of only checking whether it was right or wrong.

  • Question and answer prediction
  • Main ideas and important details
  • Accurate answer handling
  • Timed listening practice

Reading

Develop faster, more accurate reading based on evidence rather than assumptions. Practice will help you connect each answer to the text and make better decisions when time is limited.

  • Common question types
  • Locating relevant evidence
  • Understanding main ideas and writer position
  • Time management

Writing

Learn how to plan, organise and improve your response through specific feedback. Each review gives you a manageable priority, so the next piece of writing has a clear purpose.

  • Task analysis and planning
  • Clear paragraph development
  • Vocabulary and grammatical control
  • Timed writing and editing

Speaking

Build relevant, natural and well-developed answers across all three parts of the test. Guided practice helps you extend ideas without relying on memorised responses that do not fit the question.

  • Fluency and coherence
  • Vocabulary and grammatical range
  • Pronunciation and intelligibility
  • Timed speaking practice

Feedback you can use

See what useful IELTS feedback looks like.

Useful feedback does more than identify a mistake. It explains why the response is weak and gives you a clear action for your next attempt. The example below shows how a vague idea can become more precise, connected and easier for the reader to follow.

Illustrative Task 2 opening sentence

01

First attempt

Nowadays cars are a big problem and governments should do something about it.

02

Aisha’s feedback

  • Position: “Do something” does not show what response the writer supports.
  • Precision: “A big problem” does not identify the specific effects of private-car use.
  • Development: The relationship between the problem and the proposed action is not yet clear.

Next action: Name the specific urban problems and state the action the argument will support.

03

Revised attempt

Heavy reliance on private cars increases urban congestion and air pollution; governments should therefore improve public transport and reduce unnecessary car journeys.

  • The problem is specific: congestion and air pollution.
  • The proposed response is explicit: improve public transport and reduce unnecessary journeys.
  • The cause, effect and position now form one connected argument.

Experienced guidance. Personal attention.

I’m Aisha, an MPhil-qualified English lecturer with more than 12 years of English coaching experience. I help IELTS candidates understand what is limiting their performance and turn that understanding into focused practice.

My teaching is structured, patient and direct. You should know what you are working on, why it matters and what to change in your next attempt.

That means I do not treat every mistake as equally important. We focus first on the changes that can make your response clearer, more accurate and better suited to the task.
